Call to Prayer: A Lament for a World Watching Gaza Starve. By Rev. Micah Bucey.

Spirit of Attention and Intention, how have we settled here, a complacent place where empty prayers cannot sustain empty bellies.  Gaza is famished, and the world feasts, and scrolls, and forgets.  Awaken us, so we give what is to be stolen, so we can rage at what continues to be withheld, so we break down the false barriers between our hungers. May justice rise like morning bread. May mercy fall like rain on dry fields. May fullness come—not as a metaphor, but as freely-fed liberation. And may the table filling begin with us. Amen.
